Mary Cammack Eitel has more than 20 years of experience in agency public relations. She has created integrated communications plans and brand-support programs for dozens of public and private companies, many of which are top producers in their respective industries.
Before starting MKE Communications in 2008, Mary was senior vice president for Edelman and manager of the firm’s consumer group for the Southeast. She developed the agency’s national House & Home practice, dedicated to serving companies interested in targeting homeowners. A serial renovator in her own home, Mary had the opportunity to oversee award-winning media and influencer programs for top brands such as Char-Broil grills, Tempur-Pedic, Shaw flooring, Laneventure furniture and RealEstate.com. She also managed community relations and development initiatives for the Beaches of South Walton in northwest Florida, Arvida (now the St. Joe Company), Jacoby Development and numerous other companies.
Mary began her career working in hospitality and entertainment, promoting concerts and events at venues across Atlanta and planning some of the city’s most high-profile grand openings for Atlantic Station, Philips Arena, The High Museum of Art, Hard Rock Café, and Planet Hollywood. She learned early how rewarding it is to combine a passion (sports!) with her love of marketing by working with Dunlop Slazenger, Head Penn Racquet Sports, and the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

An alternative to large agencies encumbered by processes and systems, this is a nimble group that integrates seamlessly with internal teams for both short- and long-term assignments. Mary and her team have managed recent programs for Luckie & Co., Rheem Manufacturing, Wellstar Health System, and Emory University’s Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-Based Ethics.
